It's crazy. I thought the strike would last a couple of weeks. This is the end of TV as we know it.

I've read a few articles about how it's only a matter of time before internet media companies sign up the writers for original content that would be shown on the internet. That would be a quantum leap, and require a lot of cash but I think it would be successful.

Has everyone seen the end of series 4 now?

There is a 28 episode 5th series on the cards, and a spin off series as well apparently. Although I am excited about more comedy, I am thinking its time to end it now surely.

I really enjoyed Series 3, haven't seen any of Series 4 yet. There's some great quotage in Series 3 that I think is begging to be employed at Reading this year, particularly:

"Beer me that CD" and "Unshun...Reshun"

...classics!

Yeh, you're about where Dave and I were last year! I need to finish watching series 4, I never picked it up after the strike.

You need to finish it in 2 days Tim.

Series 5 starts Thursday at 21:00 eastern american time so will be torrentable on Friday I would imagine.

I was going to discuss the storylines that might be good/bad off the back of the last episode of series 4, but I realised that some of you may not have seen that far. So:

Spoiler: show
1.Jan pregnant, Michael Father, thinks he isn't father but is going to raise the kid anyway
2. Pam off to art college?
3. I need to rewatch the last few cos that's all I can rememeber.
4. I can't remember what happened when Andy proposed

Awesome! S5 is rubbles though. Apparently Merchant directed a S5 one recently solo though, interested to see whichone it is.

Just caught a little bit of Murder She Wrote whilst breaking for lunch, and who should be making a guest appearance in it? Jan Levinson I presume?!

I always quite like it when characters from other shows make cameos elsewhere.

I was pleased to see Richard from Lost playing a wealthy benefactor with a sick son on House the other day.
